Mysteriously torn from their lives, six individuals find themselves in a room. They have no memory of how they got there. They are lost and in the dark.
Christian housewife CHARLINE is the first to remember. Her life had been filled with pain, and she places blame everywhere but on herself.
MIKE is a womanizer, who never found fault with what he’d done.
Always ready for the next fight, JAMEILA has difficulty owning up to her actions.
KEITH never believed in God, and encouraged Atheism in others.
A confused and angry daughter, FELICIA finds it excruciating to remember.
And GARY faces the fact that a world of pain can come from one man: him.
Lovingly, JESUS takes each of them back in time to the critical moment where they made the one choice that will determine whether heaven awaits them or hell. And what they discover is more shocking than anything they could ever imagine.
This dramatic play weaves a harrowing tale of unforgotten sins, remembered miracles, and how a series of disparaging events inextricably tie six people together from life to death.
“The Waiting Room II” is an inspiring story of how welcoming Jesus into your heart has the power to save your life, not only here on earth, but also in the hereafter while emphasizing the consequences of not accepting Jesus. When it’s your turn in the waiting room will there be any question of where you will go next?
Length: 45-60 Minutes
Cast: 4 males, 3 females, Plus Extras.
Audience: Teens & Adults
Genre: Contemporary Drama
The Waiting Room II illustrates an important question to all believers. What will it be like to stand before Jesus on Judgment Day? To wait on suspended breath for JESUS’ final judgment as He consults the Good book. As Jesus initiates a flashback of the life you lived. Waiting in THAT room to hear, “You will never have to live without me, enter in my good and faithful servant”, or “Depart from me…Your name is not in the book of life.” This play is very insightful to non-believers as well as believers. It doesn’t hold back any of the realities of what’s to come at Judgment. The characters are very familiar people and we have all met them before. It is beautifully written, easy to produce and expressively truthful. I must say that I truly enjoyed directing it with the cast. I love the variety of characters and ages displayed in it. It definitely kept the audience engrossed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
