The Church of God has been without a pastor for three years because one, it is a small church and two, it is in a bad neighbourhood...a very bad neighbourhood....and no pastor in his right mind would take on such a church.

The mother church has devised a plan to get a pastor down there. One, find a fresh one out of school and two, keep him in the dark. In other words don't let him have any idea what he is walking into.

Pastor Leroy Johnson is assigned the church.

He is robbed and beaten on the first day and he finds only three members still faithful to the church...each having their own story...but our pastor also has his hands full at home with a wife who wants him to quit not only pasturing this church, but pasturing on a whole and he has two daughters.

Pastor Johnson has a passion for saving souls and realizes that God has called him for such a time as this. He conjures up a plan to bring light to a dark neighbourhood. No one there remembers and even considers Christmas...so he's taking Christmas to them.
