VALLEY OF HINNOM --------------------------------- "Purgatory is a Catholic belief. I found the concept interesting enough to use it to demonstrate God's power through his son Jesus Christ as he descend to 'The Dead Zone' to claim the key to death and hell and set captives free."
Hope..... Death enters dragging the two thieves that were crucified beside Christ behind him. They are placed with the others. One can't seem to stop glorifying God and the other is pure attitude, but their arrival sparks hope for these prisoners of Hinnom, these Saints who once freely proclaimed God’s word in life. For now they know that Jesus is coming for them. And He will take the keys of death and hell with Him. It is at this point that the audience will be in for a treat as the three days draw to a close, the very steps of Jesus can be heard drawing closer and closer... . Please Note.... The sound effects, state of the art props and a vivid setting will leave your audience mesmerized for weeks, but I won't lie to you. If you choose to produce this play it's going to take hard work and dedication. If you're up to the challenge, well...I just think it best to let you know that this is a very challenging script.

Sound effects set the stage for this play as Jesus is
crucified offstage. We see two demons onstage with bibles in their hands
trying to understand what is taking place as the whole atmosphere
changes at the spilling of Jesus' blood. In Gehennah – There are four
prisoners, Moses, David, Jeremiah and Ruth. They are in chains awaiting
their redemption, but not all of them still believes that day will come.
