INTRODUCTION (A short narration)
For years the story of Jesus’ crucifixion; our day of redemption, has been told for generations. It has broken barriers and transcended borders. It has infiltrated cultures and broken regimes. For years the good old story has warmed our heart, eased our minds and sooth our spirits. Tonight the same story is being told once again but this time we tell you of the devil’s yes you heard me…the devil’s first Easter.
(Howling sounds are heard we hear screeching sounds of terror as we hear people constantly screaming out for help).
NARRATOR: Welcome to Hell!
Hell is a hot and dark place. Nothing can contain its immense heat. Hell is foul, raw and rife with human excrement. Breathing is difficult because there is no ventilation. It is Satan’s principality with strict rules and regulations. In hell the demons are ugly, cruel and full of authority; they are of different forms and categories. Demons are ever anxious to be released, to begin their duties of tormenting those within their territories.
LIGHTS UP
(Two demons enter the stage conversing to each other about a man who just killed himself. While they talk they are called by one of their supervisors, who bring them before the boss).
(They are assigned to Judas one of the twelve disciples)
Characters: Shreb & Sakah.
SAKAH: Yow man… did you see how that man just jumped off that cliff. A tell you these humans are so easy.
SHREB: Seeing them jump off cliffs always give me a thrill. Boy it’s entertaining.
SAKAH: Yeah but not all of them… well at least not anymore.
SHREB: You mean…
SAKAH: Yeah… those twelve…..but I’m talking about that one in particular.
SHREB: Don’t go there… you know that the boss doesn’t like it when we mention … you know who.
SAKAH: Yeah, but what is the boss up tight about… you know who. A mean what’s the big deal.
SHREB: What?? I can’t believe this…don’t you know…..man how long have you been out in the field... a day. No man seriously how long have you been on field assignment.
SAKAH: For over a few thousand years, why?
SHREB: That’s him… he’s the one…
SAKAH: Who Jet Lee?
SHREB: Stop playing.
SAKAH: You can’t be serious.
SHREB: Yep as serious as my name is….
SAKAH: Are you sure? But he doesn’t look like much.
SHREB: Do not under estimate him. He is much more than He looks.
SAKAH: If I didn’t know better I’d think you’re scared.
SHREB: Even though this is bigger than us I aint worried… Well at least not anymore. You see I’m not sure how this will play out but I think that the boss finally got him.
SAKAH: For real.
SHREB: Oh yeah… you see this time he got an inside man…. (Shreb draws nearer to Sakah and whispers to him) You remember Judas.
SAKAH: Who could forget that fool?
SHREB: Exactly…. You know as those humans say the chain is as strong as the weakest link… and hey…there’s the weakest link. And the best part is that none of the other eleven suspect a thing.
SAKAH: Not even….
SHREB: Not even him…
SAKAH: He aint all that then….. The boss is gonna have field day with this one.
(While Sakah talks Shreb spots another demon coming their way and quickly alerts Sakah).
SHREB: Sakah, be quiet someone’s coming.
SAKAH: Who is it?
SHREB: It looks like one of them from the second quadrant.
SAKAH: Oh it’s only Emulk.
(Emulk approaches them…)
SHREB: What up ma man…you know we were just talking about you. You know I was just saying to Sakah that it’s been a while since we’ve seen you.
EMULK: You liars...
SHREB: Aren’t we all (with a big grin on his face).
(They all laugh)
EMULK: Anyway, I didn’t come here for small talk… I got a message for the two of you.
SAKAH: Us?
EMULK: That’s what I said….the sup wants to see the both of you.
SAKAH: Us…why?
EMULK: I don’t know he just told me to tell y’all that he wants to see you two immediately.
SAKAH: Immediately!!!!!!… Let me tell you from now… it was not me it was Shreb. It was his assignment to let those two kill each other; it was his fault why the woman got away. I told him to just push her off but no he wanted to do it by the books.
SHREB: Will you shut up…you conniving, hypocritical, scoundrel.
SAKAH: That’s why I’m here.
EMULK: I aint got time for y’all chit chat…. Let’s go the sup wants to see you two.

(Sakah and Shreb are brought before the supervisor Heng. Heng is a very authoritative figure, Very assertive and loud).
HENG: Finally, I was beginning to wonder if y’all got lost. Emulk you should have brought them back here over and hour ago. But it seems that was just too much to ask of you…worthless...
(Sakah whispers something to Shreb).
SAKAH: What’s his problem?
SHREB: Heard he lost a battle with Gabriel recently… so he’s a bit edgy.
SAKAH: A bit…Hello I’m a bit edgy…He is tormented.
HENG: (clearing his throat) Are you finished.
SAKAH: Who me… I wasn’t doing anything. Shreb were you doing something.
SHREB: No I was just standing here minding my own business.
HENG: Enough….
EMULK: Now you see what I had to deal with.
HENG: You Shut up.
SAKAH: Hello…Hey….y’all kinda wasting our time here we got things to do you
know people to see…the works and all.
EMULK: Why the nerve…
SHREB: Sakah shut up…you’re gonna get us banished to the sector 7.
(Suddenly a loud rumble is heard…. All the demons instantly stood still) then there came a loud and roaring voice it pierced the walls of hell. The voice was so terrible that all of hell stood still as it spoke)
THE VOICE: Do I have to do everything myself…. You incompetent, insufficient...idiots…
(the voice wasted no time it immediately began to deal with the matter at hand)
THE VOICE: You two….
SAKAH: Who us….
SHREB: Did he just call us.
THE VOICE: Will you two shut up… I have an assignment for you two. You have no choice in the matter you will carryout this assignment until it is finished and if you don’t ….well I don’t need to tell you about what will happen. By now you must have heard about the twelve men who have been causing trouble for us very where we go. Well your assigned meant is one of the twelve.
SAKAH: What? You mean Jesus is our assignment.
THE VOICE: (With a loud roar) Hell no… there is no way in hell I’m gonna assign you two to him. He is my personal assignment…ever since he was born he has been a thorn in my flesh and I want to deal with him personally.
SHREB: So who is it then?
THE VOICE: Your assignment is one they call Judas.
SHREB: Who that fool?
THE VOICE: The job should be easy then. I expect full results with a week or less. Heng they are under your supervision…if they fail, you fail…. And you don’t want to fail.
HENG: Yes Sir. It will be done. (he then bows and walking backwards he exits the stage, he is followed by Emulk, Sakah and Shreb.)
