> BEHOLD HE COMES  : This is a humorous Narrative that seeks to highlight the relationship between the before and after Christ period. It draws snippets from a few of my other plays and incorporates a smooth narrative to make this skit perfect for an outdoor setting.

It speaks about the period of law (condensed) and shows us, in no uncertain terms, how Jesus Christ made all the difference between Life and Death.

> THE CAKE : Sometimes we wonder, "What did I do to deserve this?" or "Why did God have to do this to me?" Here is a wonderful explanation as a mother helps her frustrated daughter to understand God's way by demonstrating the concept involved in baking a cake.

Requires 2 Female Characters: Runs for about 5 - 7 minutes. Minimal props.

Price: $15.00 (Click to Order)

> JESUS' LETTER : Jesus writes a letter to the world concerning His birthday (Christmas).

"...the celebration of my birthday began many years ago. At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration..."

Requires 1 Male Character and Extras (non-speaking parts). Runs for about 5 - 7 minutes. Minimal props.

Price: $15.00 (Click to Order)

 > THE DOOR : In Phil’s words, “A Closed door represents the uncertainty of God’s will and purpose for (our) life. It’s the fear of venturing into the unknown…it’s the dread of failure and the horror of change.”

This skit highlights our hesitance to accept God’s calling on our lives because of un-surety, fear, doubt and even our immunity to change. But in all things, God ask only one thing of us….that we Trust Him, no matter what.

> GLASS OF MILK : This is the kind of story we read all the time in emails and often fast forward to our friends. It is based on two words..."Kindness Pays"

When Kelly was struggling to get by as a door to door salesman, Marilyn, whose husband had abandoned her two years ago, reached out to him from the kindness of her heart...with a huge glass of milk.

Years later, Marilyn fell very ill with a rare disease, which would have consumed her life had it not been for the exceptional attention of a Specialist; one who would not rest until Marilyn was well again. A Doctor, who remembered the kindness of one stranger and...a special glass of milk.

> RAPTURE : Do we ever get tired of procrastinating; or watching people live their lives as if there’s a sure tomorrow? Not that we want to scare everyone half to death but Jesus emphasized the fact that His coming would be similar to a thief in the night. Therefore, in the process of setting our priorities, don’t you think we should put God first?

I think we should. Frankly I don’t want to be the one left behind so guess what…this play serves as a reminder to everyone that the Rapture will catch some of us unprepared if our priorities aren’t straight.

> LOVE : This may not be your typical ‘Enter’ and ‘Exit’ Play. It’s more of a Reader’s Theatre kind of Skit that requires very little or no movements from the actors on the stage. When the lights come up, everyone should already be in place. The Main Character (MC) is seated at Centre stage asking the main questions (BOLD). He/She can sit on the stage with the chair backrest facing forward so he/she can rest their arm/ chin on it as the questions are asked. All the other characters (names not important) stand around the Main Character in strategic positions taking turns to answer the questions one piece at a time.

> REPENTANCE : The concept behind this skit is fairly simple. Everyone knows about the Sins of Commission (Lying, Stealing, Cheating, etc). But we sometimes aren’t aware of the Sins of Omission.

After this skit, I’m sure your audience will be fully educated.

> ISSUES OF THE FAMILY : This play was written with the family in mind. It specifically addresses the issue of the male population in the church, in other words, for every ten women you have one man. The question has been asked many times by our Pastor ‘Where Are The Men?’

Married women come to church without their husbands; children come without their fathers; sisters come without their brothers, and yet if we pass by certain places, the population of men is very high. ISSUES OF THE FAMILY will address this question, not so much to answer it, but to open our eyes to it.

> THINGS THAT SMELL : Joe is holding an ordinary looking bag. Or is it? It seems when people look inside some horrible things happen. This short skit illustrates the meaning behind 2 Corinthians 2:14-16, making good use of physical comedy. It's a skit teens will love to perform.
